Carrino began with the firm in 1995 at an entry-level position, just two years fresh from high school graduation. In 2011, with the professional guidance of mentor and PR maven, Susan Brustman, he took over the firm as President. Larry’s expertise in gainful networking, client service, media relations, and strategic brand development has afforded him countless, valuable partnerships that have honed his craft and shaped him as a passionate and tactical PR professional.

Carrino ensures that BCPR is always on the cutting edge of trends in the lifestyle media sector. His role at the firm includes overseeing publicity, special events and marketing campaigns for the firm’s roster of top restaurant, hospitality, event, arts and entertainment accounts. He is well known for his superlative work as a publicist for nationally-esteemed, A-list chefs such as the 2018James Beard Award-winner (Best Chef: South) Nina Compton; Eater’sChef of the YearandTopChefSeason 13 winner, Jeremy Ford; Jeff McInnis &James Beard Award Semifinalists JanineBooth and Michael Pirolo. He currently spearheads regional PR efforts for the famed FoodNetwork & Cooking Channel South Beach Wine & Food Festival and maintains the role of PRchair for Slow Food Miami.
