Our first B Happy family since 2020! Meet Hannah and her family.

“Hannah’s NF journey has its ups and downs just as most NF families. We live in central Arkansas, but we travel to St Louis Children’s Hospital for her care. It’s a 6-hour trip one way, and we always spend 3 days (a day to drive there, 2 days of appts, including her MRI, then drive home on her last day of appts). The constant travel can be burdensome and costly, but we make it work somehow. We’ve been traveling to St Louis now for 7 years to see the NF Team at St Louis Children’s Hospital/Washington University. Depending on the stability of Hannah’s tumor determines when she has to be seen. We’ve traveled every 2-3 weeks, to every 3 months, to every 6 months.”

Needless to say, Hannah and her family were in need of a break, and their B Happy trip offered just that.

“Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for allowing us to have this experience. It was very special to us all, especially to Hannah. Saying Thank you doesn’t seem to be a big enough expression to articulate the level of gratitude we have to everyone involved. I want to personally thank Aisling, Meghan, and Debbie for everything. This trip isn’t only about Hannah but it’s honoring Brandon as well. I want Debbie to know that we honor her, Brandon and the entire family. I can see why Tampa/Clearwater was one of his favorite vacation spots. It’s now become one of ours too. Much love and definitely a core memory for the Elliott girls! “
